With our (digital) lives heading for the iCloud and Facebook recognising us on its’ own, the issue of privacy becomes more apparent every day. Do we hand over our documents, pictures, contacts and faces to the likes of Google and Apple or do we react in a repressive way and start locking up our inner thoughts? It’s good to see that some people see beauty in the way technology is taking over the way we look at ourseleves and others. I came across Doug Rickard who for his latest photography project didn’t went out and shot suburban America himself, but let Google do it instead…. and it’s surprisingly good at it.
